Create TradingView alert

After setting up the alert message on the strategy you're using, to start receiving alert messages on TradingView, you'll need to add one. With our strategies, you'll only need to create one, and it will send alerts on any entry as well as on any exit, one alert per strategy.
The video below will show you how to add one.

Steps

  1. Make sure your strategy/indicator are in the TradingView chart.
  2. Click on the Alert icon (bell symbol) in the top right corner of the chart. Access API Management
  3. Select Create Alert. Access API Management
  4. In the Condition dropdown, choose your strategy/indicator and select alert() function calls only. Access API Management
  5. Provide a name for the alert.
  6. Go to the Notifications tab, enable the Webhook URL option, and paste your Webhook URL. Access API Management
  7. Click Create to finalize the alert.

IMPORTANT: The alert will be created based on the current settings of the strategy/indicator. To make it work on the new settings, you need to create a new alert and delete the old one if it's no longer needed.
Changing the strategy/indicator settings after the alert is created will not update the existing alert; it will continue to function based on the settings that were active when it was created.

warning!

Keep your webhook URL private to ensure the security of your alerts and avoid any disruptions. Sharing it could lead to missed or unauthorized alerts.
