Strategy Testing

Before enabling automation, thoroughly test your strategy to ensure it performs as expected. We recommend:

  • Back-testing with historical data.
  • Paper trading to validate performance.
  • Starting with small position sizes when going live.
  • Monitoring initial trades closely.

Automation Setup Process

Follow these steps to properly set up your automation:

  1. Link Your Broker

Connect your broker in the Automate page to receive your webhook URL. See how

  2. Prepare Alert Messages

Configure your alert messages in the Strategy/indicator alerts section. Learn more

  3. Set Up TradingView Alerts

Create alerts in TradingView to start receiving trade signals. View guide

Webhook Flexibility

A single webhook URL from our platform is versatile and can handle:

  • Multiple assets.
  • Different timeframes.
  • Various strategy settings.
  • Multiple TradingView alerts.

Simply use the same webhook URL across different TradingView alerts for seamless integration.

Crypto Trading Requirements

Spot Trading

For spot trading, you need to have sufficient balance in both:

  • Base currency (the asset you want to trade, e.g., BTC)
  • Quote currency (the currency used for pricing, e.g., USDT)

Example: For BTC/USDT trading, you need BTC for selling and USDT for buying

Futures Trading

For futures trading, you only need balance in:

  • Quote currency (e.g., USDT) for margin and position maintenance

Example: For BTC/USDT Perpetual futures, you only need USDT balance

Security Warnings

  • Never share your webhook URL with anyone - it provides direct access to your trading automation.
  • Keep your API keys and credentials private - sharing them compromises your account security.
